Purpose of Data Processing by the Data Controller and Third Parties

We will process your personal data only for the purposes listed in this Data Protection Policy. Your personal data will not be shared with a third party for any purposes other than those listed below. We will share your personal data with a third party only if:

  • you have given us your express consent to do so,
  • it is necessary to execute a contract with you,
  • it is necessary to fulfil legal obligations or,

it is necessary in defence of legitimate interests and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding interest worthy of protection in not sharing your personal data with a third party.

Deletion or Blocking of Data

We adhere to the principles of data avoidance and data economy. We store your personal data only for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purposes as listed in this policy or for varying time limits as per the regulations laid down by the legislative authority. Upon fulfilment of the relevant purpose or the expiry of said time limits, the relevant data will be blocked or deleted as per legal regulations.

Collection of General Information when Visiting our Website

When you access our website, information of a general nature will automatically be collected by small files called cookies. Comments Feature

When users leave comments on our website, not only is the content saved, but also the time at which they were posted and the user name of the visitors under which they posted on our website. This is for security purposes, as we could be held liable for prosecution for offensive or inappropriate comments even if these have been posted by visitors to our website. 

Contact Form

Please address questions to us via e-mail or our contact form, which we will take as your assent to contact you. For this purpose, we will need your name, your country of residence, the nature of your grievance and a valid e-mail address. This will enable us to identify the type of query you have so that we can provide you with an appropriate reply in a prompt and decisive manner. Further details are optional. Your data will be saved for the purpose of resolving said grievances and any further questions that may arise in connection with them. Your personal data will automatically be deleted once your queries have been answered.

Use of Piwik

This website uses Piwik, an open source software analytics programme which provides statistical reports of website traffic. Piwik uses so-called cookies, small text files, which are saved on your computer and enable an analysis of web traffic and user behaviour.The information generated by cookies on web traffic and user behaviour is saved on a server in Germany.A visitor’s IP address is anonymised immediately after it has been processed and before it is saved.  You can prevent installation of cookies on your computer by changing the settings of your browser software. Use of Web Font Library (Google Web fonts)

We use web font libraries such as Google Web fonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/) to improve the overall performance of our website and deliver its contents accurately and consistently across different web browsers. Embedded YouTube Videos

We have embedded YouTube videos on some of our websites. YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA is the operator of the corresponding plugins. A connection to YouTube servers is built when you visit a page with a YouTube plugin. In this way, information is shared with YouTube as to which pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can match your search behaviour to your user account. By logging out of your YouTube account, you can prevent this from happening.  

When you start a YouTube video, the provider will store cookies on your computer, which will collect information on user behaviour.

If you have disabled Google Advertising cookies, you will not have to concern yourself with their use while you watch YouTube videos either. YouTube may, however, store other non-personally identifiable data in other kinds of cookies. You will have to disable cookies in your browser if you want to prevent this from happening.
